Hey small business owners. My name is Mike Costello. I was born and raised in The Bronx, NY and currently live in Los Angeles, CA. I'm a songwriter & musician with a passion for small business.
Spending most of my life in NYC, I was always surrounded by local businesses owned by hard-working, passionate people. People putting their whole lives into their dreams to support themselves and their loved ones.
I moved to Los Angeles in 2018, and my passion for small business has only grown since. Walking into all the coffee shops, restaurants, farmers markets, local shops, you can see a glimpse into everyone's personalities and style. LA has the diverse culture I believe is so important. As humans, it's our differences that help us learn and grow together.
I thrive on others thriving. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to chase what drives them and makes them happy. I have been a bookkeeper for over 11 years now, and my goal is to use my experience to support the small businesses I'm passionate about. For new clients: I will work on an hourly rate for the first couple of months, including onboarding, setting up a new Quickbooks account and/or cleaning up your existing books. This will give me an idea of how many hours per month I'll need for your business, so you're getting the monthly rate that suits your needs.
